CEAL
A message from the Board“To offer world class Leadership support services to all
sections of the communities including young people”
CHAIRMAN
Dr Christopher A. Johnson
Since 2002, CEAL has been pioneering learning, heritage, employability and enterprise education initiatives across disadvantaged neighbourhoods in the West Midlands sub-region. In the process, the Academy has developed key partnerships and alliances with pubic, private and non-governmental organisations. These have led to the successful delivery of programmes for children and young people, families, groups and other organisations in the wider communities.
As an organisation, CEAL endowed with versatile Trustees and competent Management personnel who have years of combined practical experience in administration, business management, civics, education, enterprise, finance among other skills sets. The organisation has accessed funding tranches from statutory bodies; viz., the National Lottery, Heritage Lottery Fund and EU Structural Funds, to name a few. These resources are used to design and implement activities and events for communities that experience economic exclusion and social deprivation.
Additionally, the Academy contributes to job creation activities especially within the light-manufacturing and service sectors. It facilitates micro to small business start-ups for individuals to alleviate their unique economic and social circumstances.
As a reputable and growing Academy, CEAL intends to endure partnerships with multiple bodies to fulfil a manifest goal of encouraging and supporting lasting prosperity for individuals and their communities.
